It’s amazing up here year-round!

Home of the highest peak in the state, stunning art galleries, fabulous shopping, and exceptional outdoor recreation, you can’t run out of things to do any time you visit our high altitude home. Spring, summer, fall, and winter, our mountains are host to a wide range of fun-filled activities.

In Taos, tour a few of the many museums, take a stroll among the The John Dunn Shops, or roll some strikes at Gutters.

Winding your way up to Taos Ski Valley through the charming village or Arroyo Seco, you’ll find delectable eateries perfect for fueling up for the outdoors or elegant dining experiences. Longing for outdoor adventure?

Let your spirit fly in a hot air balloon over the famed Rio Grande Gorge or pick up a fishing license (available online or through area outfitters) and try your luck fishing! Known by anglers as an exceptional rainbow trout habitat, there are also bass, catfish, northern pike, panfish, and walleye.
