About the Taos Ski Valley Chamber of Commerce
We’ve been the voice of Taos Ski Valley business since 1997 – the year after the Village became New Mexico’s 100th municipality. Since then, our job hasn’t changed much: promote this beautiful place, support the people who run it, and make sure both keep thriving.
Here’s where we’re different. Most chambers stop at networking events and ribbon cuttings. We run destination marketing like a business: original content, targeted omni-channel promotional campaigns, and year-round visitor outreach funded by the lodgers’ tax our community entrusts us with. Every dollar goes back into putting Taos Ski Valley in front of the right people at the right time, whether that’s a powder day in February or a trail run in August.
But marketing is only half the story. We’re small-business advocates first, and several members of our team have owned small businesses. That means real world experience & support for the shops, restaurants, and lodgers that make this Village what it is. It’s not just about visibility, but leveraging the tools and connections to grow.
Taos Ski Valley isn’t a big place, and we like it that way. It means we know our members by name, we answer the phone, and we show up for this community because we work and play here. Our work is guided by a board of local business owners who care as much about this Village’s future as you do.
