TAOS Ground Transportation

Shuttle to/from Taos Ski Valley: TAOS resort offers complimentary ground transfers between the Taos Regional Airport and the Resort. The shuttle can be reserved during the booking process by adding “Taos Ski Shuttle” during the customization step.

  • In addition to scheduled route stops at The Blake and the Cid’s turn-out, Airport shuttles will add drop-offs at the Rio Hondo Learning Center and the Powderhorn Condos when requested by shuttle passengers
  • Airport shuttles cannot offer pick-ups at same place back down to the airport – so passengers will have to make their way to The Blake or Cid’s Mountain Market, or arrange other transportation

The FREE winter shuttle service to Taos Ski Valley is the TSV 341 GREEN route. Wednesday through Sunday service begins December 21, 2024 and ends March 23, 2025. 

The North Central Regional Transportation District‘s (NCRTD) signature “RTD Blue Bus”, provides fare-free service from many locations in Taos, El Prado and Arroyo Seco. The District’s total service area encompasses more than 10,000 square miles of north central New Mexico. See the all the Routes Here.

DRIVE

Pack up your vehicle and come on up!

From Taos: Travel north on US 64/Paseo Del Pueblo Norte until you reach the stoplight intersection of US 64/NM 522/NM 150. Turn right onto NM 150. Passing through the tiny town of Arroyo Seco, stay on NM 150, which takes you to the ski area parking lots.

From Santa Fe: Take The High Road! Have a little extra time on your hands and yearning for majestic scenery? Take the High Road to Taos. This scenic byway winds through high desert, mountains, forests, small farms and tiny Hispanic villages established in the 1600s and 1700s. The lovely scenery has inspired many artists to set up gallery spaces. Stop along the way to enjoy historic churches, pottery and weaving studios. Access the route from north of Santa Fe on US 285/84 at Pojoaque. Turn right (east) onto NM 503 past Nambe and through Chimayo. At the intersection of NM 76 turn right through to Truchas and turn left at the intersection for NM 75. Pass through Penasco and Vadito to NM 518. Turn left (north) and proceed to Los Ranchos de Taos. At intersection NM 68, turn right into Taos.

Taos Ski Valley Resort has provided electric vehicle charging at 116 Sutton Place, Taos Ski Valley, 87525

There are 20 EV chargers located next to Hotel Parking across from Sutton Place to be used while actively charging. Charging is $0.35/kilowatt hour. Parking attendants can give more detailed directions upon arrival. Chargers are first come, first served.

RV Parking & Day Parking

Rail Runner Express
