The Taos resort is hosting an afternoon with Andrea Heckman owner of Andean Software, as part of the ongoing speaker series. Andrea Heckman has worked 40 Years as a Trekking and Cultural Guide in Peru and Bolivia for Wilderness Travel, has a PhD in Latin American Studies and taught Anthropology at UNM Taos for 20 years. She is an avid photographer and documentary filmmaker, author of award-winning books, and chases textiles and beauty around the world for her store Andean Software. She has been an active part of Taos Ski Valley since 1976 and will share many of these stories.
