Las Guaracheras was formed in Cali in 2017, this powerful six-piece Latin ensemble draws from salsa, Afro-Caribbean rhythms, and the musical traditions of Colombia’s Pacific region. Inspired by the legacy of Celia Cruz, their name is a tribute to the women who have helped shape and carry Afro-Latin music forward.

But Las Guaracheras are about more than incredible music. Their original compositions center women’s voices, resilience, creativity, and empowerment — while their improvisational live performances give every musician the opportunity to shine.

And shine they do. Expect infectious rhythms, soaring vocals, powerful bass, percussion, improvisation, and an explosive live show that will have you dancing, singing, and feeling every beat.
