Eddie Roberts is a British guitarist best known as the co-founder and guitarist of the jazz-funk band, The New Mastersounds. Roberts started playing the guitar at the age of 13 and was influenced by jazz, funk, and soul music. Roberts is known for his signature guitar style, which blends jazz, funk, and soul with a modern twist. He is considered one of the most talented and innovative guitarists of his generation and continues to tour and record with his various projects including Eddie Roberts & Friends, Eddie Roberts & The Lucky Strokes, and more.
Jeffrey Franca is the eclectic drummer for the electronic music duo Thievery Corporation and the founder of the funk group Congo Sanchez. Franca’s style bleeds the lines between jazz, electronic, reggae, and funk. Franca’s unique drumming style blends live percussion with electronic beats and samples. He has been praised for his technical skill and musical creativity and continues to tour and record with Thievery Corporation and other artists.
Dan Africano is an American bass player best known as a touring and session musician, playing with a variety of artists in the jam band, jazz, and electronic music scenes. Africano has collaborated with several other musicians, including Karl Denson, Melvin Seals, and John Popper. He has recorded and toured with notable acts like Big Gigantic, Oteil Burbridge, and Ghost Light. His versatile bass-playing style, incorporates elements of funk, jazz, and rock. He is highly regarded for his ability to blend in with any musical situation and has been praised for his musicality and technical skill.
