PLAY OUTSIDE! Outdoor Learning Adventures
The Field Institute of Taos is based in Taos and designed for children entering first grade and up, FITaos Mountain Camp programs provide active, hands-on outdoor experiences. Sessions include a wide variety of topics including ecology, Leave No Trace, archaeology, water, wildlife biology route finding, and much more. Children explore the natural beauty of the area through hikes, field notes and drawings, fun activities, art projects, and games. Some sessions include camping and backpacking.
FITaos also offers weekly sessions at Quail Ridge Taos for children age 5-10. On-site fun, supervised daily activities including swimming, arts & crafts, group games and much more!
Reservations are required for all FITaos camps.
