PLAY OUTSIDE! Outdoor Learning Adventures
Field Institute of Taos (FITaos) provide hands-on, nature-based outdoor experiences promoting connection and healthy, active lifestyles and focusing on adventure, natural sciences, community, and culture. Based in Taos New Mexico, the camps are designed for children entering first grade and up. The Field Institute of Taos mountain camp programs offer experiential education, teach outdoor skills, and encourage inclusive and accessible thoughtful exploration. Sessions include a wide variety of topics including ecology, Leave No Trace, archaeology, water, wildlife biology route finding, and much more. Children explore the natural beauty of the area through hikes, field notes and drawings, fun activities, art projects, and games. Some sessions include camping and backpacking.
Field Institute of Taos also offers weekly sessions at Quail Ridge Taos for children age 5-10. On-site fun, supervised daily activities including swimming, arts & crafts, group games and much more!
Reservations are required for all FITaos camps.
