The spaces between the primitive, pounding drumbeat of David Glantz are filled by Charlie Frost’s masterfully melodious synth textures. Kyote Radio is a New Mexico based garage rock band with roots in the West Texas ghost town of Terlingua, a remote desert outpost where frontman Micah Paredes was born and raised before landing in Austin in 2007. Paredes leads Kyote Radio on electric guitar and vocals, delivering sharp songwriting backed by a band that provides a full dose of heavy riffs, anchored by a thundering rhythm section featuring collaborators Nick Smith, Wesley Riddle, Russ Connell, Nick Blossom and Ray Heilman.
