The Harwood is excited to announce the return of First Fridays. All are welcome to visit the museum FREE of charge between 4pm and 7pm every first Friday of the month this summer and fall. Each month there will be different activities, performances, and opportunities to connect with the creative community in Taos. Come experience internationally acclaimed art in the historic setting of our local museum.

For September, please join Taos Abstract Artist Collective at the Harwood Museum’s First Friday for an Open Studio Experiential reflecting on the current exhibition Luchita Hurtado: Earth & Sky Interjected. This will be a guided, materials-focused art making experience for people of all ages. Art materials will be provided. No art experience necessary.

Taos Abstract Artist Collective is delighted to join the Harwood Museum of Art in 2024 and 2025 in weaving together multiple webs of the Taos creative community through a series of collaborative events and exhibitions dedicated to the life and work of the late great artist Luchita Hurtado.
