The Taos Milagro Rotary Club is participating in the Town of Taos holiday event by hosting the Festival of Trees which features 26 Christmas trees decorated by sponsors and businesses, 15 decorated wreaths, many gift baskets and donor gift items – all available for purchase in a silent auction. Businesses and organizations provide a donation to sponsor a tree and the tree is then auctioned off to the highest bidder. Funds raised at this event directly benefit the community through the literacy programs, scholarship programs, community grants, and international programs. Last year over $40,000 was given to support these programs.

There will be activities for children including a visit with Santa Claus. Local entertainment. Free hot tea, cider, or chocolate.

The Festival of Trees is free so that the community can enjoy viewing the trees and bidding on silent auction items. It is an event for all to enjoy.
