The Town of Taos Events invites the community to Eyes: The Gateway to the Soul, a free art class led by master artist Michael M. Hensley on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Don Fernando Hall, 120 Civic Plaza Drive. Open to ages 10 and older, this engaging class welcomes all skill levels, and all materials will be provided.

Participants will explore the expressive power of the eye through guided drawing, live demonstrations, and discussion, learning how form, proportion, and technique bring emotion and life to both human and animal subjects.
