Each year we host bike rodeos for local schools. Some events take place on campus and others are off campus. These events help us share our love of bicycles and the outdoors with a broad spectrum of kids. We cover safety topics, practice skills and ride. Miles of smiles and lots of sound effects are to be found at our Team FITaos Bike Rodeos.

The Town of Taos and Field Institute of Taos present the Taos Community Youth Bicycle Rodeo, in conjunction with Wal-Mart, Rift Cycles, and Kit Carson Electric Cooperative, Inc. are sponsoring this community-wide event for children of all ages and their families.

There will be skilled activities, exhibits/booths, games for the youth, and free drawings for bicycles in different sizes.  The Taos Police Department will provide child fingerprinting.  Free event t-shirts will be given to the youth completing the activities and visiting the booths and games.  Free helmets will be provided for children needing a helmet while supplies and sizes last.  Refreshments will be provided.
