12 More On 12 is the songwriting of Chipper Thompson on the 12-string guitars of artist Larry Bell. 

The Harwood Museum of Art in Taos, New Mexico presents Chipper Thompson and Friends in concert, playing 12 songs on 12 different 12-string guitars from the collection of artist Larry Bell.

Chipper will perform his original compositions using twelve different 12-string guitars from Mr. Bell’s extensive collection and will include interesting stories about the songs, the guitars themselves, and the history of the 12-string guitar in North America.

Chipper’s wife Kim Treiber will join him on vocals and bass guitar, as well as local musical superstar Kate Mann and a number of surprise guests!

Chipper Thompson’s first “12 On 12” concert took place at the Harwood in September 2018, in conjunction Larry Bell’s exhibition Larry Bell: Hocus, Focus, and 12. Chipper Thompson was joined for the first “12 On 12” concert by his wife Kim Treiber (another noted Taos musician, songwriter, photographer, and potter) and friends Bruce Williams and Craig Smith. The concert was so popular that plans were laid for future editions, but a pandemic and the vagaries of everyday life got in the way, thus… the second Chipper Thompson / Larry Bell “12 More On 12” concert is happening now!
