The Vineyard House in the hills of Dixon, northern New Mexico, is a beautiful winemaker’s home belonging to the co-owners of Vivác Winery. It sits among apple trees and looks out over the vineyard. The house is well suited for a writer’s retreat, a romantic getaway, or a home base for exploring three nearby ski areas and two rivers. Guests are invited to a complimentary wine tasting at Vivác Winery. There are plenty of options for local hikes, or easy day trips to the museums and galleries of Taos and Santa Fe.
