SUCHNESS dining room is a contemporary American restaurant operated by husband and wife team Kevin and Meg Sousa. Kevin single-handedly operates his one-man kitchen from conceptualization to prep to personally plating every dish on a nightly basis. Meg curates the wine list, crafts each cocktail, and welcomes every guest that comes through the door.
With 25 years of restaurant experience as a chef, owner, and operator, Chef Kevin Sousa is known for his unique approach to modernizing classic American cuisine and creating dishes that are both familiar and innovative. Praised in The New York Times, Food & Wine Magazine, and TIME Magazine, and featured in Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown — Kevin’s passion and creativity goes beyond food to create environments that leave the guest with a sense of comfort while wondering what’s next.
Meg Sousa is a wine professional with a diverse background in restaurant management & operations, wine education, and public relations, creating dining environments for guests that are elegant, yet approachable. Together, Kevin and Meg have produced one-of-a-kind food and wine experiences at off-site locations and in clients’ homes.
