The Lower Plaza connects to the Base via a bridge and makes getting to the lifts from lodging on Thunderbird Road simple. In winter, the ‘Gondolita’, runs the short (but strenuous in ski boots!) distance from the Rio Hondo Learning Center to the Base, which makes getting to the center of things in the morning from Taos Ski Valley lodging along Firehouse Road a breeze. Lodging on Sutton place will give you ski-in/ski-out access.
