Join us from 4pm to 7pm the first Friday of every month for pay-what-you-wish extended hours at the museum! It’s free and open to all. Invite all of your friends!

Our March First Friday will feature a special screening of Westermann: Memorial to the Idea of Man If He Was an Idea at 5:15 in the Harwood’s Arthur Bell Auditorium. This feature-length documentary film chronicles the story of a marine veteran who navigated the profound traumas of war by making art, becoming a hero to generations of artists, including his friends Ed Ruscha and Frank Gehry, among others interviewed including Happy Price, who along with Ken Price were friends of Westermann. The film features actor Ed Harris as the voice of H.C. Westermann. Included with admission as part of First Friday, extended pay-what-you-wish hours. This film is presented in conjunction with Pursuit of Happiness: GI Bill in Taos. On view through May 31, 2026
