Dave Spalding is a Taos-based guitarist and songwriter best known for his work with the instrumental indie-rock band Pell Mell. Equal parts psychedelic shimmer and rock-forward drive, his sets are a slow-burn ride—hypnotic grooves, gritty tones, and the kind of atmosphere that makes the room feel instantly cooler.

His music has appeared on releases through labels including SST, Matador, and Geffen, and has been featured across film/TV and cultural mainstays like Six Feet Under, Queer Eye, and Sex and the City, as well as NPR and This American Life.
