Astrophotography Exhibition celebrating International Dark Sky Week. During a Town Council Regular Meeting held on March 24, 2026, Mayor Daniel R. Barrone declared International Dark Sky Week in Taos from April 13, 2026 to April 20, 2026. This recognizes the wonder of a natural night sky and joins with Dark Sky International, the Rio Grande del Norte National Monument and UNM Taos to raise awareness, provide education and encourage protection of and enjoyment of dark skies.
