SUMMARY:Grant Knoxlyn
DESCRIPTION:As the sun rises on a new generation of songwriters and storytellers\, perhaps none have heeded the call of the road more than Grant Knoxlyn. Through his much-anticipated debut studio album\, Along the 40\, he has solidified his place in the American songwriter’s canon with songs like his traveler’s anthem “Take to the Highway” and the western eulogy “Rio Gorge”. To hear his music is to fall in love with the wild again; a journey of hope\, humor\, and adventure into the unknown. The troubadour lives.

SUMMARY:The Rifters
DESCRIPTION:Come scoot your boots across the dance floor with The Rifters as they bring their three-part harmonies and bluegrass desert Americana sound to the stage. This live concert is part of the DALEEE KTAOS weekly Sunday 2-Step Series\n$15 cover \n5pm Two Step Dance Lessons included with ticket to the show. \nThe Rifters are Rod Taylor (guitar\, mandolin\, vocals)\, Don Richmond (guitar\, mandolin\, fiddle\, banjo\, pedal steel guitar\, dobro\, harmonica\, vocals)\, and Jim Bradley (bass\, vocals). Putting out more music than it seems should be right for three guys on stage\, the Rifters employ a wide range of acoustic and electric instruments\, combined with soaring three-part harmonies\, to provide a mesmerizing variety of music from driving blue-grama-grass to ethereal desert beauty. The years of playing to the dance crowds in their northern New Mexico homeland has given their music a toe-tapping rhythm that is engaging and undeniable. With a pedigree of bands like Hired Hands\, the Rounders\, and South by Southwest among them\, the Rifters are truly a musical voice of the west\, and their region of high desert vistas and mountain majesty.

SUMMARY:The Roswells
DESCRIPTION:Close out April with The Roswells and a dance floor full of two stepping on April 26th. Two Step Sundays at DALEEE KTAOS always start with a free Two Step lesson at 5PM\, then the band takes off at 6PM. Community\, music\, and dancing-  just the way Sundays should be. \n“The Roswells bring the nostalgia of the second and third generation of country music into the millennia. Singing songs of western swing and honky tonk greats\, The Roswells add their own flare with their unmistakeable Nuevo Mexico and Tejano influence and sound.  The influence is evident when they switch\, almost on the spur of the moment\, from Buck Owens to Al Hurricane. Their blend of harmonies is that of Johnny and June\, Dolly and Porter\, and Loretta and Conway. Part angst but all love.”  -Cactus Eddie \nThe Roswells are: Ben Monroe\, Kateri Lopez\, Dave and Laura Devlin\, Bud Melvin\, Josh English
