SUMMARY:ECTA Crosscut Saw Training
DESCRIPTION:Our annual Crosscut Saw Training provides volunteer groups and individuals with the knowledge and skills they need to safely and efficiently log out trails. \nPresented with our agency partners\, the 2-day course discusses the basics of bucking (cutting logs that have fallen across a trail) with a crosscut saw and proper axe use. We will not be going over felling (cutting down upright trees). \nThere will be an opportunity for evaluations to become certified to the USFS standard\, a must for using crosscut saws on Forest Service land. A certification is not guaranteed and will depend on your performance and skill. \nOrganizations that wish to get involved with the Adopt-a-Trail program are strongly encouraged to attend. \nLearn more! \nDate: June 6th-7th\, 2026\nLocation: Enchanted Circle (exact locations TBD)\nCost: Free!\nPrerequisites: First Aid/CPR Certification (must be valid at time of course)\nRegister: carel@enchantedcircletrails.org

SUMMARY:Shinyribs
DESCRIPTION:The Mothership Presents Shinyribs with The Sweet Lillies! \nShinyribs defies genres as a sonic melting pot of Texas Blues\, New Orleans R&B funk\, horn- driven Memphis Soul\, country twang\, border music\, big band swing\, and roots-rock. The Austin-based nine-piece (sometimes 10-piece) supergroup is led by Kevin Russell\, the charismatic frontman with colorful suits and extravagant shoes who continuously swaps out an electric guitar for a ukulele and never falls short of creating a cinematic experience with on- stage antics that often include him donning a light-up cloak or leading a conga line through the crowd. \nThe Sweet Lillies are a heartfelt\, collaborative Americana Roots Pop Fusion quartet built around original songwriting and fearless genre-blending\, featuring Julie Gussaroff\, Becca Bisque\, JJ Murphy\, and Jones Maynard. With electric guitar\, viola/violin\, upright and electric bass\, drums\, and ethereal vocal harmonies\, they craft hard-hitting\, uniquely evolving sounds that draw on folk\, jazz\, blues\, southern rock\, hip-hop\, and pop\, reflecting the band’s collective life experiences and a no-holds-barred creative ethos. Founders Gussaroff and Bisque write and mold the core material\, while the group thrives on onstage collaborations\, rotating arrangements\, and guest appearances by legendary artists\, producing energetic\, ever-shifting live shows that defy easy categorization. Since forming in 2013\, they have released six albums—The Sweet Lillies (2016)\, A Lighter Hue (2018)\, Common Ground (2021)\, Sweet Holiday Sessions (2021)\, Equality (2023)\, and Cover To Cover (2024)—and plan a year of singles in 2026\, beginning with Weatherman on January 16\, 2026. \nTickets and more information.
