Barrone declared International Dark Sky Week in Taos from April 13\, 2026 to April 20\, 2026. This recognizes the wonder of a natural night sky and joins with Dark Sky International\, the Rio Grande del Norte National Monument and UNM Taos to raise awareness\, provide education and encourage protection of and enjoyment of dark skies.In honor of International Dark Sky Week\, don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about astronomy\, photography and the dark skies we enjoy in our community and state.You could win a telescope!
