DESCRIPTION:ECTA Adopt-A-Trail Work Day with PPC Solar and ECTA for a trail maintenance day on the Devisadero trail. \nWhen: April 18th 9 AM – 4 PM\nWhere: Meet at the El Nogal Recreation Area (36.375732\, -105.546523)\nWhat to Expect: A day filled with fun and trail maintenance on Taos’ beloved Devisadero trail. Work will consist of basic trail maintenance: improving drainage\, tread\, and clearing vegetation from the trail. We’ll be using tools like pick mattocks\, McLeods\, shovels\, loppers\, and hand saws. \nWe will be hiking 1-1.5 miles up the trail to the work site. The trail is uphill\, exposed with limited shade\, steep in parts\, and has loose rock in parts. \nWhat to Bring: Please wear long pants\, sturdy hiking shoes/work boots\, work gloves\, and eye protection (sunglasses okay).
