DESCRIPTION:SOMOS Presents the 27th Annual Taos Storytelling Festival. Founded 27 years ago\, The Taos Storytelling Festival has grown into one of the most exciting storytelling festivals in America. The stories you’ll hear will make you laugh\, smile\, cry\, chuckle\, wonder\, slap your knees\, giggle\, and applaud. \n* Storytelling Workshop w/ Eldrena Douma from 10:00 AM-12pm:\nIn her workshop titled; “Creating Stories Quickly”\, participants will construct a story\, first in a group then individually that has never been told\, written or read.\n$30 SOMOS Members/$40 non-members. Students 18 and under are free. \n* FREE Community StorySwap | 2:00-3:30 PM\nAt Hacienda Martinez – 708 Hacienda Rd\, Taos\, NM\nA free community Story Swap facilitated by Storytellers of New Mexico.
