Local artist Melissa H. Lind will transform the hotel’s outdoor terrace into a multi-sensory\, light-based environment with her interactive installation\, Nested Scales of Existence. Astrophotographer Herman Quintana will be on site with piano accompaniment by Huckiebee. \nThrough real-time projections on glass and layered light tables\, Lind blends portrait photography\, neural imagery\, and cosmic visuals to invite guests into a contemplative experience of scale—connecting the inner workings of the brain to the vast structures of the universe. Using images from microscopes\, telescopes\, and everyday life in Taos\, this immersive installation creates a shared space where the personal and the planetary converge.
