SUMMARY:Dead End Strings
DESCRIPTION:Dead End Strings was originally formed as a two piece band with Matt Korte on Guitar and Jeff Barnett on the Doghouse Bass as a side project of another band Jeff has had for years called Barstool Revival (Still alive\, Check us out). \nMeeting through music Matt and Jeff had hit it off with a common interest in musical style and orneriness. With Jeff and Kyle being friends and bandmates through other projects for years so as it goes Matt was introduced to Kyle and as partakers of Jam Culture and the Walnut Valley Festival and Jeff’s own OWL CREEK JAMBOREE they had all built a musical repertoire with each other. So Kyle Grigsby was naturally added to the mix. \nAND THE RESUUUULT.  A band rooted in brotherhood\, jamming bluegrass(ish) music until the sun comes up\, an unquenchable thirst to play music for a living\, a common background in metal and a hard knock life you get a REAL\, Gritty\, honky tonky\, bluegrassy\, Swingy\, Punk\, raw energy. \nDoors open at 6 PM\, and the show kicks off at 7 PM. Presale tickets are $10\, or $12 at the door.
