METAL CLAY and MIXED MEDIA CLASS with Sherri Haab
September 20 & 21
Metal clay starts as clay and turns into fine silver. Does it get any more magical? Now it does--with Metal Clay and Mixed Media. Best selling craft author Sherri Haab takes this compelling material, today's hottest craft item, to the next level, brilliantly combining it with other media ranging from the timeless to the unexpected.

Learn to make simple silver metal clay charms and bead forms. After the metal clay is fired and finished, students will go on to make beautiful mixed media jewelry pieces. Sherri will teach techniques using polymer clay, resin, glitter and small inclusions to add color and sparkle to your finished metal clay charms and beads. Finished pieces can then be used in a variety of ways. Make a “sampler bracelet” of mixed media charms or choose a favorite technique perfect for a pendant or pair of earrings.   This class will inspire you to look at simple craft materials in a whole new way when combined with precious silver to create designer style jewelry.
