4th of July Celebrations

Come celebrate Independence Day and the Village's Birthday in small town fashion. The entire family will enjoy a parade, fun games, live music 8th Annual Rubber Duck Race Fundraiser with the Field Institute of Taos. Kids can even ride the firetruck ! Bouncy castle and face painting. Parade starts at 2pm. Music and events follow the parade. Village Market and local stores have street sales, ride the chairlift. Great fun for the entire family. Full Moon Hike to Williams Lake

Experience the magic of Taos Ski Valley on a Full moon hike.Hike with our Village mayor Neal King to the beautiful Williams Lake. The hike is 2.5 miles each way and moderate. All hikers please bring a flashlight, warm clothes and hiking boots, a snack and adequate water. The hike can take a few hours so we recommend the ages of 12 and over. This is a free hike to all that wish to attend. Hikers meet at Hiker Parking between 7:30pm or 8:00pm or enjoy the special full moon dinner menu at the Bavarian Restaurant - Reservations essential call 575 776-8020. Again we are part of the New Mexico Off-Road Series, and the Alison Dunlap Junior Olympic Mountain Bike Series. XC climbs up 11500' on single-track, old grassy roads, and jeep roads.

Summer Chairlift Rides

Enjoy the majestic views of Taos Ski Valley from our lift #1. Once you arrive at the top, you can hike around. Ride the lift or hike down to the base area. $10 adults and $6 for juniors, group rates available. If you have a Taos season pass from last season or for the upcoming season there's no charge (you must present pass). Hours 10 am - 4:30pm, Thursdays through Mondays until August 31st, then only Saturdays & Sundays, September 3rd - 27th.

Oktoberfest Celebration

This year join us for the best ever Oktoberfest Taos Ski valley has known. Traditional beer tents complete with 13 Piece Oompah Band, German food, beer, German dancers, Best Costume, Yodeling and Brat eating contests! Great prizes.
